Our core program is built in stages:

Bucket Drumming Foundations
Develop pulse, rhythm, coordination, and group timing

World Percussion
Introduce authentic instruments including djembe and darbuka

Performance & Composition
Students create and perform structured musical pieces

Taster Session (1 Hour)

10 Week Program (1 School Term)
A structured, short-term program delivering a condensed introduction to rhythm, ensemble playing, and performance.

Students progress through:

  • Bucket Drumming Foundations (5 weeks)
    Pulse, rhythm, coordination, and group timing

  • Introduction to World Percussion (5 weeks)
    Basic techniques on djembe, including tone development and simple patterns

Focus areas include:

  • Performing in an ensemble

  • Listening and coordination

  • Basic composition and structure

This format is ideal for schools looking to implement a consistent, engaging music program within a single term.

20 Week Program (1 School Semester)
A comprehensive program designed for deeper learning, skill development, and performance outcomes.

Students progress through:

  • Foundational rhythm and percussion

  • World percussion techniques and cultural context

  • Structured composition and ensemble performance

  • Introduction to music theory concepts, including:

    • Rhythm reading

    • Pattern recognition
